The SIGMUND team is fully committed to complying with GDPR requirements. Our legal and policy experts have thoroughly analyzed GDPR requirements and continue to monitor new guidelines on best practices for implementing GDPR requirements. We have taken these new requirements to heart and made changes to our products, contracts, and policies to ensure we fully comply with GDPR.

Global Compliance of SIGMUND Products and Tests

Many of our clients operate across multiple jurisdictions around the world. To ensure a consistent user experience, SIGMUND has adopted GDPR requirements across its entire platform and supports it globally. We believe that using uniform rules will greatly enhance our clients' ability to comply with GDPR requirements.

Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Information

We respect your right to privacy and you can contact us at any time, and we will strive to respect your choices and requests regarding your personal data. The list below aims to allow Users and Contacts to exercise their rights under applicable privacy and data protection regulations:

Right of Access

You can request access to your personal data and obtain a copy of the personal data processed by SIGMUND. If you request to know what personal data we are processing, we will provide you with the following information free of charge: the purposes of processing, the categories of personal data processed, the recipients of the personal data, the retention period of the personal data, your rights regarding personal data protection, and information on data transfers. Right to Rectification

You can request to amend, update, or complete any missing data we process about you, by sending an email to [email protected], please ensure you provide us with the relevant information to enable us to process this request.
Please note that we may rectify, complete, or delete incomplete or inaccurate information, at any time and at our own discretion.

Right to Erasure

You can withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time. If there is no overriding legitimate interest to continue processing your personal data (e.g., to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, etc.) and the personal data is no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which it was collected, we will erase your data. Right to Restriction of Processing

If you are not satisfied with our response or believe we are collecting or processing your personal data in a manner that is not compliant with the law, you can file a complaint with the competent data protection authority.

Retention

Personal data will be retained by SIGMUND only for as long as necessary to identify you for the processing activities of SIGMUND. SIGMUND will adopt the same retention policy for all users and contacts, regardless of their place of residence, which will follow the reasonable mandatory retention period, which is 7 years from the date of processing.

Please note that we may retain the information we collect as long as necessary to provide services and to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

If you wish to delete existing company profiles from our servers or prefer that we do not disclose your company profiles to our users, vendors, or business partners, you can unsubscribe by sending an email to [email protected] with the necessary information. In this case, we will not continue to use or disclose your company profiles.

Please note that some of the information collected about you may come from the web and be made public by other platforms. In some cases, you may find your data after a deletion request if it has been collected again on the web, by other partners, or by other means that do not involve access to your device. We recommend periodically checking your profile or the Services to ensure that your existing profile or account contains only the information you have chosen to display.

All SIGMUND data processors have been checked for GDPR compliance (online.net). All SIGMUND data is stored on servers hosted on-site 🇪🇺 European Union. The servers are hosted by online.net (a French company).

8 Key Points of GDPR

1. Right to be Informed: we clearly inform our users of how their data will be used.
2. Right of Access: our users can access all their data, without restriction.
3. Right to Rectification: it’s as simple as contacting us, we will handle all your rectification requests.
4. Right to Erasure: it’s as simple as contacting us, we will handle all your erasure requests.
5. Right to Restrict Processing: we do not process our clients’ data (and the end users of our clients, candidates).
6. Right to Data Portability: our users can contact us at any time if they wish to obtain an export of their data (this may take time, however, as data is fragmented across multiple isolated databases).
7. Right to Object: we handle all requests regarding this from our users and end users (candidates) of our users (contact us).
8. Rights Related to Automated Decision-Making and Profiling: SIGMUND does not offer online services to children, due to the nature of the service provided (business-to-business). Therefore, we have not deemed it relevant to check the age of users signing up for the services.

Data Deletion

We allow each user to completely delete all their data. It’s as simple as contacting us. We will delete each request within 7 days.

We do not record user activity, except for system logs, including IP logs and user agents, which are used only for debugging and software development purposes and retained for up to 1 year.

Security

We have implemented all security measures recommended by GDPR.

We do not process your personal data.

Our data has never been compromised.
